Privacy Policy
Effective October 28, 2026
1. Who we are
TeleFunnel Leads is a service of The Insurance Dudes ("we," "us," "our"), 5102 E Pima St, Tucson, AZ 85712. We buy insurance leads from third-party lead providers and deliver them to insurance agencies ("Clients"). This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and disclose it, and the choices you have. It covers telefunnelleads.com and its subdomains (the "Site"), our waitlist, Client accounts, and the consumer lead information we handle.
2. Information we collect
Site visitors and waitlist
- What you enter: your email address, and your name and agency name if you give them.
- Collected automatically: your approximate state, which our hosting provider derives from your IP address; a one-way hash of your IP address (not the address itself) to detect abuse; your browser's user agent; and the standard request logs our hosting provider keeps.
Clients and staff users
- Business contact details: name, email, phone, agency name, licenses, and states served.
- Sign-in details: the email address and name from the account you sign in with (for example, Google).
- Billing details: your Stripe customer record, payment history, and the card brand and last four digits. Stripe stores your card. We never see or store your full card number.
- Account activity: settings, leads delivered, balance, returns, and a log of changes made in the account.
Consumers in insurance leads
When a consumer asks a lead provider's website or call center for insurance quotes, the provider may send that request to us. A lead can include name, phone, email, mailing address, ZIP code, date of birth, details about vehicles, drivers, home, or current coverage, the date and source of the request, and a record of the consumer's consent where the provider supplies one. We get this information from the provider, not from the consumer directly.
3. Cookies and tracking
The public pages of the Site do not use advertising cookies, third-party analytics, or tracking pixels. Signed-in areas use cookies that are strictly necessary to keep you signed in and to protect the sign-in. You can block cookies in your browser, but signed-in areas will not work without them. Because we do not use cross-site tracking, there is nothing on the Site for a browser opt-out signal such as Global Privacy Control to turn off; we treat such a signal as a request to opt out of any sale or sharing of information tied to that browser.
4. How we use information
- To run the Site and the waitlist, and to contact you about TeleFunnel Leads.
- To open and run Client accounts: sign-in, lead delivery, balances, refills, receipts, returns, and support.
- To buy and deliver leads, check them for errors and duplicates, process returns, and track lead and delivery quality.
- To keep records that show consent and compliance, and to handle complaints and opt-out requests.
- To prevent fraud and abuse, secure the Services, and comply with law, legal process, and regulator requests.
5. How we disclose information
- To Clients: consumer lead information is delivered to the insurance agency or agencies that buy that lead, so they can contact the consumer about insurance.
- To service providers that work for us under contract: hosting, database, sign-in, payment processing, internal messaging, and lead platform providers. They may use the information only to provide their services to us.
- For legal reasons: to comply with law or legal process, to enforce our terms, and to protect the rights and safety of consumers, Clients, and us.
- In a business transfer: if we sell, merge, or reorganize all or part of the business, information may transfer to the new owner under this policy.
We do not sell or share the information of Site visitors, waitlist members, or Clients. Delivering consumer lead information to Clients for a price may count as a "sale" under some state privacy laws. Consumers can opt out of that as described in Section 6.
6. Choices for consumers
- Stop calls and texts from an agency: tell the agency that contacted you. They must honor it.
- Stop us from delivering your information: send us a request under Section 9 with your name and the phone number and email in the lead. We will stop delivering your information and will tell the Clients we delivered it to about your request.
- Stop waitlist emails: ask us under Section 9, or follow the instructions in the email.
7. Your state privacy rights
Depending on the state you live in, you may have the right to:
- know what personal information we have about you, where it came from, and to whom we disclosed it, and get a copy;
- correct information that is wrong;
- delete information we hold about you, subject to legal exceptions such as keeping consent and opt-out records;
- opt out of the sale or sharing of your information, targeted advertising, and profiling with legal or similarly significant effects (we do not do targeted advertising or such profiling);
- appeal our decision on your request; and
- not be treated differently for using these rights.
To make a request, contact us under Section 9. We verify your identity by matching details you give us with the information we hold before acting on a request to know, correct, or delete. An authorized agent may make a request for you with your signed permission, and we may ask you to confirm it. We respond within 45 days, and tell you if we need up to 45 more. If we deny a request, you can appeal by replying to our decision, and we will answer the appeal within the time your state's law sets. If your appeal is denied, you may contact your state attorney general.
California. In the past 12 months we collected the categories of information listed in Section 2: identifiers (name, email, phone, address, IP-derived data), customer records, commercial information (purchases and payment history), internet activity (request logs), approximate geolocation (state), and, for consumers, insurance-related characteristics such as vehicle, driver, and coverage details. We used and disclosed them as described in Sections 4 and 5. We sold consumer lead identifiers and insurance-related characteristics to Clients. We do not knowingly sell or share the information of anyone under 16. We do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about anyone. California residents may also ask, once a year, about disclosures of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing.
8. Retention and security
We keep personal information as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy. We keep lead, consent, delivery, and opt-out records for as long as a legal claim about a contact could be brought, and billing records as long as tax and accounting law requires. We then delete or de-identify it. We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards suited to the information, including encrypted connections, role-based access, and audit logs. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of information.
